Shore Temple, Mamallapurum under Tsunami 500 years ago
Sea Shore temple built by Pallava empire was impressive, only one is in existence now, But there were six others. Once was decorated like a dream play house for Pallava kings, vanished by tsunami by mother nature but there is still one shore temple still survives with beauty and serenity for public to visualize. The latest tsunami did uncover some artifact from the past. What a sight would be when everything would be intact without weatherization. Someone said, passed through the word of mouth that God got jealous due to the place being so beautiful and even heaven could not match the serenity and beauty. I visited the shore temple many times when I was young and my ancestors born and raised in that area. There were sweat through hard work to create such a masterpiece. But the artists talents, engineering and combined with sense of humor present even to this day for public to view.
Thank you UNESCO, this belongs to the world.

inspired from Cholas ancient dynasty temple mural
Chola's empire encompassed all the way to Singapore. The name itself suggests the south India's influence in southeast Asia. Bragatheswara Temple still stands tall in Thanjavore which was from the 11th century. The above painting is my take on the original done by the master painters in Chola's period. I enjoyed painting this piece to my likings.
